Treasure Island

A wide shoreline made for wandering.

Treasure Island feels expansive. The beach stretches wide enough that the water can seem far away when you first step onto the sand, and there is always movement — wind, gulls, gentle Gulf water and people walking toward the quieter end of the shoreline.

There is an old Florida ease to this place that I like. Nothing feels too precious. Just a huge stretch of beach and enough space to wander until you find the little pieces that belong to that morning.
