Beer Can Island

Driftwood, tide pools and the wild end of the island.

This is the part of Longboat that feels like nature rearranges it whenever it wants. Driftwood twists out of the sand, roots lean toward the water, and shallow tide pools appear and disappear depending on where the Gulf left them that day.

It is rugged in a way the rest of Longboat is not. Less manicured, more weathered — constantly being reshaped by tides, storms and time.
